Launched in 2001, METOLA group now has been a local leader in south China in the development, manufacturing and marketing of Interventional & Implantable Cadiovascular devices, Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) devices and Anesthesiology pharmaceuticals and devices.

Metola has established in China an integrated network of VIP customers and talent bank of medical experts, which provides extensive range of academic resource for R&D, production and marketing.

In house Production Site

METOLA group set up in 2010 the first in house medical devices manufacturing facility MaxenMed in Guangzhou, which is around 3000 square meters, with 100, 000(ISO Class 8) clean room, sterile laboratory, and production lines for Inactive and Active Medical Devices as well.

The site is equipped with internationally most advanced automatic Balloon production line from U.S.A., CE complying Epoxyethane sterilization equipment and standardized electronics production line.

MaxenMed continuously emphasizes on building manufacturing excellence, in Guangzhou factory it produces mainly sterilized interventional medical devices and active medical devices, such as coronary stents, all types of PTCA and PTA balloon catheters, PTCA kit like hemostasis valve, adjustable arterial compression band, diskectomy system, telemonitoring system, video laryngoscope and type B ultrasonic etc.

MaxenMed has got Medical Device Manufacturing Enterprise License for Class 3 from SFDA, and ISO 13485 in 2011.

Based on Metola Groups 10 years successful experience in medical industry, MaxenMed is dedicated to research and development of interventional cardiovascular devices and active medical devices.

It shares Metola s R&D center in Frankfurt am main, and establishes respectively in Guangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen 4 more R&D centers.
