HDPE Description HDPE is used in a variety of applications and

industries where excellent impact resistance, high tensile strength,

low moisture absorption and chemical and corrosion resistance

properties are required.

HDPE Characteristics

Advantages:

Resists organic solvents, degreasing agents & electrolytic attack.

Excellent chemical resistance.

Good Fatigue & Wear Resistance

Good electrical insulation

High flexibility (also at low temperature)

The machanical strength of surface hardness , stretching intensity and rigidity is higher than LDPE.

Good protection against stress cracking

Super low water absorption

Low steam permeability

Food safe

Disadvantages:

Poor mechanical properties

Poor ventilation, easy deformation, easyaging, brittle-prone, easy stress cracking

Low surface hardness, scratch easily.

Difficult to print

Surface is lackluster

HF welding not recommended

Difficult to varnish and glue

Not weather resistant
