Acrylic Mirror | Perspex Mirror | Plastic Mirror

Acrylic mirror sheet, or Perspex mirror, is intended primarily for areas such as interior fittings for decoration, display and point-of-sale, visual merchandising, pickguards for guitars, store design, applications in the food service industry, and where safety requires the light-weight and shatter resistance of acrylic plastic sheet.

Other successful applications for acrylic mirror include use as garden mirrors, around the home, cake stands, horse box mirrors and mirrors for stables.

Our acrylic mirrors are of the highest commercial quality available and offer impact strength of around 17 times greater than that of glass in equal sheet thickness, and are manufactured with the industry's toughest protective back-coating - which helps to protect the acrylic mirror against scratching during general use and preparation.

Please note Acrylic mirror sheet does not have the rigidity of glass and is not sold as a direct replacement for applications where glass mirror may be more suitable.

During normal use, some visual distortion may occur - such distortion may be exaggerated when using large pieces.

A thicker piece of acrylic mirror will be less flexible and therefore maintain better optical integrity.

Correct installation and sufficient material thickness can reduce visual distortion but will not completely eliminate it.

Visual distortion is not a manufacturing fault but an inherent characteristic of the material.

Please also note that acrylic mirror, as with other mirrored products, can intensify and concentrate the suns rays and, like a magnifying lens, generate focussed heat spots.

Care should be taken when positioning, particularly when used near combustible materials.

Do not position in areas of direct sunlight.

It is important that you satisfy yourself of the materials suitability for your particular application before use.
