to- detector coupling.

Larger spheres are easier to handle and ease the

sensitivity of translational alignment.

benefit of fitting into smaller packages.

Half- ball ( hemispherical) lens are ideal for applications such asfiber communication, endoscopy, microscopy, optical pick- up devices, and laser measurement systems.
