Type D Bulk Bags, also known as Dissipative FIBC Bags, Anti-static FIBC bags, or Groundable Bags, are widely used for the storage and transportation of hazardous materials.
' Type D FIBC Bags are produced using anti-static, static dissipative fabrics that prevent any occurrence of sparks or brush discharges.
This is different from a Conductive Bag, as it need not be connected to the ground for dissipating the static charge.
These bags are used to pack safely combustible products and handle them in a combustible environment.
Anti-static FIBCs can also be used for transporting hazardous products in the presence of flammable solvents or gases during loading and unloading.
