Hastelloy C22 alloy is a nickel-chromium-molybdenu m-tungsten Almighty
alloy, than the existing nickel-chromium-molybdenu m alloy with better
overall corrosion resistance, including Hastelloy C276, C4 alloy and 625
alloy.
Hastelloy C22 alloy has good resistance to pitting, crevice
corrosion and stress corrosion cracking.
It has excellent antioxidant
capacity of aqueous media including wet chlorine, nitric acid containing
chloride ions or oxidizing acid mixture acid.
Meanwhile, Hastelloy C22
alloy also has good resistance encountered in the process of reducing
and oxidizing environment.
Rely on this versatile performance, it can be
used in some cause headaches environments, or the purpose of plant
production in a variety of applications.
Hastelloy C22 alloy has the
abnormal resist ability against variety of unusual chemical environment,
including strong oxidizing substances, such as ferric chloride, copper
chloride, chlorine, hot contaminated solution (organic and inorganic),
formic acid, acetic acid, acetic anhydride, sea water and salt solution
and so on.
Hastelloy C22 alloy have the ability to resist the formation
of grain boundary precipitation in the weld heat affected zone.

welding state.
