Pretreatment: Normalizing (900℃ air cooling) is required after forging to refine the grains and reduce subsequent heat treatment deformation.

Carburizing treatment: The surface carbon concentration is controlled at 0.8-1.0%, and the depth is 0.5-1.5mm to improve wear resistance.

Tempering control: Avoid tempering in the range of 250-400℃ (to prevent temper brittleness), and use rapid cooling.

Weldability: Preheating to 200-300℃ and using low-hydrogen welding rods, stress relief annealing after welding.

Common problems and countermeasures: Risk of cracking: Avoid quenching cooling too fast, and graded quenching (such as martensitic isothermal quenching) can be used.

Deformation control: Use a fixture to fix or use induction heating for local quenching.

Surface oxidation: Vacuum heat treatment or processing under a protective atmosphere (such as nitrogen).
