W6Mo5Cr4V4 is a high-speed steel material with an appropriate amount of vanadium (V) added to its chemical composition to replace part of the chromium (Cr).

This alloyed and improved material has the following performance characteristics:

1 - High temperature hardness: 6Mo5Cr4V4 can maintain high hardness at high temperatures.

It can still maintain a high hardness at an operating temperature of about 600°C, which makes W6Mo5Cr4V4 very suitable for tool manufacturing at high temperatures, such as thermal deformation molds and high-speed cutting tools.
