Din 55nicrmov7 Steel Main Heat Treatment Process Steps - China

DIN 55NiCrMoV7 steel is a medium carbon alloy die steel with high hardness, good toughness and wear resistance.

It is widely used in the manufacture of molds and mechanical parts in high load, high impact and high wear environments.

It can obtain excellent mechanical properties through appropriate heat treatment process, which is suitable for manufacturing molds with complex shapes and high precision requirements.

The heat treatment process of DIN 55NiCrMoV7 steel mainly includes the following steps:

Normalizing: Normalizing treatment at 850-880°C, followed by air cooling, to refine the grain and improve processing performance.

Quenching: Quenching treatment at 830-860°C, followed by oil cooling or water cooling, to obtain high hardness.

Tempering: Tempering treatment at 500-600°C, followed by air cooling, to improve toughness and stability.
