1.2312 steel is a pre-hardened mold material with a higher hardness than other pre-hardened mold steels.

The hardness is HB340- 380 - 1.2312 has the characteristics of good dimensional stability; the hardness is uniform from the surface to the center of the steel; it is suitable for gasification, EDM, hard chromium plating and titanium plating; 1.2312 steel has maintained high quality and low sulfur content since its production.

Therefore, the material has good polishability, photo-etching performance and good processing performance, high purity, excellent uniformity and reliable uniform hardness.
