    APPLICATIONS - BIMETALLIC TUBES The common application fields are:

    - Chemical and petrochemical industries

    - Food processing and refrigeration industries In the process of manufacturing Extruded Fin Tube, a Muff Tube (Outer) and a Base tube (Inner) are used.

    The base tube is inserted inside the muff tube.

    Then the fining is done by extruding the fins from the Muff Tube.

    During the process, the muff tube forms a very strong bond with the Base tube ensuring almost no air gap or non-contact area between the Muff Tube and the Base Tube.

    Extruded Bimetallic Finned Tube is combined with the same tube and fin materials of aluminum or two different materials.

    The finned tube is composited with iron-aluminum or copper-aluminum tube rolling out the fin, which feathers are tightness, small heat resistance, good heat transfer performance, high strength, small flow losses, strong corrosion resistant performance, not easy to deformation and a long working lifetime in cold and hot condition, etc.

    - Weather resistance nature - "L" Wrap-on Fins: The aluminum strip foot section is first formed into an L shape and then tension wrapped onto the base tube.

    Wound fin base sections are close to each other so as ensure a continuous cover over the primary tube surface.

    Finally, the fin strip is fastened at the ends to prevent loosening.

    - Knurled "L" Fins: An aluminum strip is folded to form an L shape and then wound around the base tube.

    The feet of the fins are joined together and cover the whole of the tube surface.

    The root of the fin is simultaneously knurled with the inner tube ensuring tight contact between the fins and tube.

    - "G" Embedded Fins: The fin consists of an aluminum strip whose foot edge is tension wrapped and embedded into the primary tube wall.

    - Bimetallic Extruded Fins: A core tube or liner is fitted into an aluminium primary tube.

    This tube-in-tube assembly is then fed into the finning machine equipped with three spindles.

    The gang discs which are stepped in profile and diameter will first extrude and shape the fin properly and then shrink-fit the primary tube on its liner.
