Advantages Of Din 1 3343 Hss After Heat Treatment - China

Heat treatment of DIN 1.3343 HSS Annealing: 2 to 4 hours at 750°C to 820°C to obtain a maximum hardness of 300HB.

Quenching: 1190°C to 1230°C in dry air or 500°C to 550°C in a salt bath.

Tempering: 540°C to 560°C at least twice for one hour each to eliminate excess stress inside the workpiece and achieve optimal hardness.
