The outer shell of dredge pipe floats is made of highly abrasion-resistant low density polyethylene material with excellent flexibility through rotomolding technology and filled with high strength polyurethane closed cell foam.

The dredge pipe floats are designed to be supplied with Valor Pipe HDPE dredge pipe and flexible rubber hoses, which provide sufficient buoyancy to keep HDPE dredge pipes floating above the water level.

• To ensure long-term outdoor use, UV stabilizers must be added during manufacture to ensure good UV stability of the dredge pipe floats.

• The dredge pipe floats consist of two halves, the inner diameter of the pipe float is the same as (or slightly smaller than) the outer diameter of the HDPE dredge pipe, so that the dredge pipe float can be firmly fixed to the HDPE dredge pipe without sliding.

• The two halves of the pipe float are connected by bolts/nuts made of galvanized steel (or stainless steel, if required).

• The polyethylene used in the manufacturing process is fully recyclable (environmentally friendly), is fully compatible with the marine environment and has a high UV resistance.
