    The artichoke is a perennial plant in the thistle group of the sunfl ower family.

    The edible portions of the artichoke buds consist primarily of the fleshy lower portions of the involucral bracts and the base, known as the "heart".

    Through washing, peeling, sorting, blanching, and are freezing in accordance with good manufacturing procedure (GMP) and HACCP, ISO, HALAL, BRC system, packaging and storage at the necessary temperature to keep their nutritional characteristics in optimum condition.
