Belt Conveyor Working Principle

Belt conveyor is a type of machine which continuously conveys the materials under the drive of friction.

The conveyor machine is mainly composed of the rack, conveyor belt, roller, tension device, transmission and other components.

The drive roller is driven by the motor through the gear unit, and the conveyor belt is driven by the friction between the drive roller and the conveyor belt.

The driving rollers are generally mounted on the discharge side to increase traction and facilitate dragging.

After being fed at the feed end, the materials fall on the rotating conveyor belt and then are transported to the discharge end under the drive of conveyor belt friction.
