Ceramic (Ferrite) magnets are composed of strontium carbonate and iron

oxide.

They are charcoal gray in color and usually we saw different

sharp of ceramic(ferrite) magnets: discs ferrite magnets, rings ferrite

magnets, blocks ceramic magnets, cylinders ferrite magnets, and

sometimes arcs ferrite magnets for motors.

Ceramic (Ferrite) magnets are

chemical compounds consisting of ceramic materials with iron(III) oxide

(Fe2O3) as their principal component.

Many of them are magnetic

materials and they are used to make permanent magnets, ferrite cores for

transformers, and in various other applications.

Ferrites are, like most

other ceramics, hard and brittle.

In terms of the magnetic properties,

ferrites are often classified as "soft Ceramic (Ferrite) magnets" and

"hard Ceramic (Ferrite) magnets" which refers to their low or high

coercivity of their magnetism, respectively.
