Galena Ore Beneficiation Plant To Get High Grade Lead Concentrate - China

Galena is kind of lead sulfide with its big density 7.4-7.6g/cm3 and

gangue density of 2.2-3g/cm3 - Its big embedded granule and density

difference makes gravity a great beneficiation method to gain high grade

galena concentrate.

For gravity separation of galena, the separator

involved is mainly jigger.

After crushing, the galena granules will be

dessociated from impurities and jiggers will separate the galena

granules our from impurities to gain galena concentrate.

Finally, the

high grade concentrate of galena can be gained with a high recovery rate

and great beneficiation efficiency.

Lead gravity separator works greatly to gain high grade lead concentrate due to the big specific gravity difference between lead and its gangue.

The crude galena is crushed and screened to make galena granules dessociated from its gangue.

Gravity separators like jigging machines can be used to purify lead ore.

Machines like crushers, rod mills, jig separators, shaking tables can be involved in lead gravity processing line.

The simple crushing breaks the big blocks into small ones while rod mill is used to mill output from crushers to be fine ore of -5mm without any extensive-milling.

Galena lead jigging machines can be involved to enrich the milled galena to get the final concentrate and tailings.

There shall be some fine granules in the tailings from jigger, so shaking table can be used to recover the galena in the tailings to improve the recovery.
