1 - Structure of Limestone Ball Mill

Limestone ball mill is mainly composed of feeding part, discharging part, rotating part, transmission part ( reducer, pinion, electric motor and electric control) and so on.

Its hollow shaft is made of cast steel and inner lining is detachable and can be replaced.

The rotating big gear is processed by casting hobbing machine.

The inside of the cylinder is equipped with wear- resistant liners.

The machine runs steadily and reliably.

The main body of ball mill includes cylinder equipped with wear- resistant liners, bearing which supports the cylinder and maintains the cylinder’s rotation, the drive part such as motor, gears, pulleys, V- belt, etc.

2 - Working Principle of Limestone Ball Mill :

To use the limeston ball mill machine, the limestone to be ground is loaded into the cylinder that contains grinding media.

As the cylinder rotates, the material is crushed between the individual pieces of grinding media that mix and crush the product into fine powder over a period of several hours.

Obviously, the longer the ball mill runs, the smaller the powder will be.

Ultimate particle size depends entirely on how hard the ground material is, and how long the limestone ball mill machine runs.
