D Type Impulse Current Test Systems - China

Application

The D type impulse current test systems are specially designed to generate impulse current of exponential shapes.

The system can be designed in various ways for meeting customers’ requirements.

The very user- friendly control unit can be expanded with a standard interface so that the tests can be controlled from a host computer.

The test object includes the below electrical apparatus:

 SPD ( surge protective device)

 Varistor, GDT, TVS

 Lightning rod

 Other lightning protection device

The impulse capacitors are charged through the HV DC charging unit.

Charging time and charging voltage can be set in advance through the touch screen on the control unit.

Once the charging voltage has been reached, the trigger sphere initiates the firing of the spark gap.

The voltage divider and current sensor ( pearson coil) reduce the measuring signals to values that the measurement system requires.
