110v 60hz To 220v 50hz Converter - USA

For a given 110V 60Hz to 220V 50Hz frequency converter, you only

need two identical RC circuits.

One to provide a voltage 60 degrees

in advance, and one to provide 60 degrees delay in relation to the

main voltage.

The connection can be done with 3 standard single phase 110V 60Hz to 220V 50Hz converter.

The primaries are connected the typical way but the secondary being connected to provide ( 2) 120V outputs.

L1 and L2 to neutral with L1& L2 has a 240V

A single phase UPS can rectify the line voltage to DC and a 3- phase inverter can create the 3- phase 50Hz/ 60Hz power.

Other than this, the only other way I know of is running a single phase motor coupled to a 3- phase generator.

Neither option is terribly efficient, but some utilities may use these methods for customers on long single- phase lines where a 3- phase load is needed for a well or irrigation pump, depending on the frequency converter.
