Introduction To Dbc Thick Film Ceramic Substrate - China

The effective alloying methods widely used in industry are thick film processing and Mo-Mn processing.
Thick film processing is to pressure-weld the particles of precious metals, then glue to the ceramic via molten glass.
Therefore, the conductivity of thick film is lower than copper.
Although Mo-Mn processing can make the metal layer with high conductivity, the metal layer is usually very thin(less than25μm), which limits the surge-resistant capability of the high-power components.
Therefore, there ought to be a new method of combining metal and ceramic to improve the conductivity of metal layer and the ability to withstand large current and reduce the contact thermal resistance between metal layer and ceramic with less complex process.
DBC is applied the industrial electronics such as high-power electricity semiconductor modules, automotive electronics, solar panel components, laser, etc.
