Study On Magnesium Doped Lithium Niobat - China

Adding magnesium lithium niobate film between internal
defect interaction with decreasing temperature and
increasing is the main reason for the vibration of OH^-
absorption peak.
The cryogenic infrared spectra of pure lithium niobate
and high magnesium doped lithium niobate crystals were
measured, the absorption peak of OH^- was observed in the
temperature dependence.
The study found the OH^- vibration
of pure lithium niobate absorption peak didn\'t change with
temperature, while the OH^- vibration high MgO doped lithium
niobate crystal absorption peak of the main peak position
decreases with temperature to high wave number direction.
Through the analysis of two kinds of crystal defects in
different model and H + in the lattice of occupying, we
suggest that high magnesium doped lithium niobate crystals
of H^ + close to the high impurity defects (MgNb) ^3-
distribution, directly involved in the defect group,
completely different from the distribution of pure lithium
niobate crystals of H^ +, which caused high magnesium doped
lithium niobate crystals of OH^- vibration absorption peak
changes with temperature.
