Silicon molybdenum rod resistive heating element is a kind of molybdenum disilicide made of high temperature, anti-oxidation resistance of the heating element.

When used in high temperature oxidizing atmosphere, the surface of a layer of bright and dense quartz (SiO2) glass film, to protect the inner layer of silicon molybdenum rod is no longer oxidation, so silicon molybdenum rod components have a unique high temperature oxidation resistance.

In the oxidizing atmosphere, the maximum use temperature of 1800 ℃, silicon molybdenum rod electric heating element with the temperature increases rapidly, when the temperature is constant when the resistance value is stable.

Under normal circumstances the component resistance does not change with the length of the use of time, therefore, the old and new silicon molybdenum rod electric components can be mixed use.
