High Efficiency And Performance Galvanized Steel Sheet Anode - China

Electrogalvanising means coating Zn or Sn both side of continuous coil of steel strip, principally for the automobile industry, but also for domestic anpliances.

The process equipment consists of banks of titanium anodes with IrO2 coating.

The steel strip passed through these banks of anodes with high speed.

The distance with anode and cathode is about 20cm.

The process involved zinc deposition at high current density (at 6~10KA/m2) from made-up electrolyte compositions (30%H2SO4, 1mol/L ZnSO4, PH=1.5).

A titanium anode with IrO2-Ta2O5 coating shows acceptable service life ( about 40000 KAh)
