Tbba Series Hv Shunt Capacitor Device Automation - China

TBBA series shunt capacitor device ( Automation) is

suitable to 6KV and 10KV electrical system of oil industry,

metallurgical Industry, steel, machine, cement, transportation and

chemical industry etc.

It can follow current and voltage of 6KV and 10KV

system bus, then switch the capacitor bank to stabilize the grid voltage

and power factor, decrease loss of distribution system and transformer

and improve electrical grid quality.

TBBA is consisted of several auto compensation cabinets which includes vacuum contactor or circuit breaker ( over 1000kvar signal branch) , voltage transformer ( or discharging coil) , current transformer, anti- inrush or anti- harmonic dry air core reactor, capacitor and responding control, protection component.

They are all installed in one cabinet.

Main characteristics

5.1 Performance

5.1.1 It adopts prime integral- film dielectric power capacitors of Cooper USA which has up- to- date design concept—extended foil, no welding connection, laser incising and special patent technology.

While it has characteristics of high field strength, small bit, little cubage, high reliability, long life, little loss, low running temperature, etc.

5.1.2 Advanced reactive power and voltage controller can follow reactive power and voltage of the bus bar, and then switch the capacitor bank.

High reliability, strong anti- jamming ability, high degree of automation, convenient operation, powerful display function and comprehensive statistical function are its merits.

There are auto, manual and remote control mode for user to choose.

5.1.3 It has friendly man- machine interface, big screen display menu, real time running parameters and fault information as well as RS- 485 communication interface and four remote control function.

Meanwhile, it can be controlled and managed by substation comprehensive automation interface through local, background computer and remote.

5.1.4 In accordance to system condition, can configure different reactive reactance reactor which can limit the closing instant inrush current below 20 times to restrain harmonics and inrush current.

5.1.5 The device switches several same or different capacity branches which can be divided into groups flexibly on the basis of total compensation volume.

High precision, small impact can ensure it achieve optimal compensation effect.

5.1.6 In accordance to different running mode of substation, there are four modes, such as double transformers parallel operation, splitting operation, and one or two transformers running independently and single running.

5.1.7 It has many protection functions, such as over voltage, over current, low voltage, unbalanced voltage or current, harmonics, etc.

5.1.8 It can show voltage, current, active power, reactive power, and power factor, etc.

5.1.9 The difference value between real with rated capacitor does not exceed 0~10% rated value.

While, the rate between biggest one with the smallest one is no more than 1.02.

5.1.10 It can run for long time at power frequency and 1.1 time rated voltage.

Meanwhile, it also can operate at 1.3 time rated effective current that is occurred by over voltage and higher harmonic.

5.1.11 We can design new scheme in accordance to the user’s real condition.

5.2 Structure

The whole device is consisted of several auto switch compensation cabinets and inlet line isolated cabinets.

Each compensation cabinet comprises switch, discharging device ( voltage transformer or discharging coil) , current transformer, dry iron core reactor, capacitor, MOA, relay protection device, wire, post insulator, cabinet body.

While, isolated cabinet is included by isolating switch, reactive power controller, power live displayer.

5.2.1 It adopts standard body size, each branch is standard.

The whole device is assembled together.

5.2.2 Every branch is an independent capacitor bank that can be used independently.

Enlarging capacity is convenient.

5.2.3 The design layout is reasonable and dynamic and thermal stability is well.

Watch window, electromagnetic lock and door switch has the forced locking function that can ensure the security of check staff.

5.2.4 If the application area is very damp, can match heater for anti- dew.
