Spherical Lens

Spherical lens, also known as a single lens, is an optical lens with a curved surface that converges or diverges light.

They are widely used in imaging applications.

Types of Spherical Optics

There are two main types of spherical lenses: concave and convex.

Concave lenses are thinner at the centre and thicker at the edges, while the opposite is true for convex lenses.
