Galvanized Steel Wire(galvanized wire, galvanized iron wire, G.

I wire) is divided into hot-dip galvanized wire and electro galvanized wire in terms of galvanization method; Electro galvanized wire, also called cold galvanized wire, is made of high quality carbon steel wire.

The processing of third wire is to use electyolytic equipment for galvanizing.

In general, the zine coating is not very thick, but the electro galvanized wire has enough anti-corrosion and anti-oxidation, the zinc coating surface is very average, smooth and bright.

Electro galvanized wire zinc coated commonly is 8-10 g/m2 - this is mainly used to make nails and wire ropes, wire mesh and fencing, binding of flowers and wire mesh weaving.

Hot dipped galvanized wire belongs to the primary wire products of galvanzation.

The common sizes of hot dipped galvanized are from 8 gague to 16 gague, we aslo accept smaller or bigger diameter for customers' choices.

Hot dipped galvanized wire with firm zice coating provides strong corrosion resistance and high tensile strength.

This kind of wire is widely used for making handicrafts, woven wire mesh, forming fencing mesh, packing products and other daily uses.

Normally Hot dipped galvanized wire has two grades in zinc layer thickness: regular coating and Heavy coating.

Regular zinc caoted mess is about 10-40g/m2, heavy zinc coated mess is more than 40g/m2 - Galvanized steel wire is also divided in low carbon steel wire, middle carbon steel wire and high carbon steel wire.

The higher carbon the higher tensile strength.

In general, low carbon steel wire is about 350-450MPA only.

Middle carbon steel wire can be 450-1000Mpa.

The tensile strength of high carbon steel is more than 1000MPA.

Compared with electro galvanization, hot-dip galvanization deposits not only a thicker zinc layer, but also a robust layer of zinc iron alloys on the surface of iron wire, which improve the ability of corrosion prevention of iron wire.
