Everflon Fluoropolymer PTFE Micropowder

Everflon™ PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) fluoroadditives are finely divided white powders of (PTFE) resin.

They are typically added in small quantities to other solid or liquid materials to improve abrasion resistance and lubricity.

They are a separate and distinctive product line, very different from standard Everflon™ PTFE molding and extrusion resins.

The differences include a lower molecular weight, smaller particle sizes (2 to 20 μm) and different particle shapes.

Everflon™ fluoroadditive powders are designed primarily for use as minority components in mixtures with other solid or liquid materials.

Even in small quantities, they can impart some of the high performance properties of PTFE to various host materials.

Part of the C&F family of fluoropolymers, this product is a white, free-flowing polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) resin used as an additive in other materials and systems.

Unlike PTFE granular and fine powders, Everflon™ fluoroadditives have: * Small particle sizes ranging from 2 to 20 µm * Low molecular weight * Different particle shapes and morphology * Versatility that allows use over a wide temperature range Depending on how they are handled and processed, these fluoroadditives provide nonstick properties and improve lubricity, wear resistance, and reinforcing properties.

Everflon™ fluoroadditives are primarily intended for use as additives in mixtures with other solid or liquid materials that can: * Enhance abrasion resistance * Reduce the coefficient of friction and mechanical wear * Reduce surface contamination * Modify appearance
