1 - Molecular Sieve 3A Molecular Sieve type 3A is an alkali metal alumino-

silicate; it is the potassium form of the type A crystal structure.

Type 3A has an aperture about 3 angstroms (0.3nm).

It doesn't absorb

any molecules larger than 3A.

It’s used for absorbing water mainly.

Molecular Sieve type 4A is an alkali alumino silicate; it is the sodium form of the Type A crystal structure.

4A molecular sieve has an aperture about 4 angstroms (0.4nm).

It doesn't absorb any molecules larger than 4A, including propane.

It absorbs water, methanol, ethanol, sulfureted hydrogen, sulfur dioxide, carbon dioxide, ethylene, propylene mainly.

3 - Molecular Sieve 5A

Molecular Sieve type 5A is an alkali alumino silicate; it is the calcium form of the Type A crystal structure.

Type 5A has an aperture about 5 angstroms (0.5 nm).

It absorbs any molecules less than 5A.

It is especially used in separation of the normal and isomerous alkane, Pressure Swing Absorption for gas, co-absorption of moisture and carbon dioxide.

It is widely applied in different kinds gas PSA equipment.

It absorbs any molecules less than 10A, mainly used as catalyst carrier, co-absorption of CO2 and H2O, co-absorption of H2O and H2S.

It is used as desiccants for medical and air compressor.

6 - 13X ACS Molecular Sieve

Type 13X ACS molecular sieve is specially designed to co-absorption of CO2 and H2O for air cryo-separation industry.
