This is a water-based C8 chemical dispersion which provides a durable, non-film forming, transparent protective barrier against oil and water for synthetic fibers, as well as cotton, wool, silk, etc.

It possesses prominent wash-fastness, dry-cleaning-fastness, and good compatibility with all kinds of resins, chemicals.

Solubility and compatibility: Rather easily dissolved in water, Rather good, but preliminary test should be taken in the case of using together with other agents.

Application

1 - It bestows excellent water, oil-repellent property for cellulosic, synthetic fibers, and their mixed goods.

2 - It has favorable wash-fastness, dry-cleaning-fastness, possesses good compatibility with resins etc., and enables to use together with other agents.

3 - There are no degradation of rub-fastness, wash-fastness, nor change of shades.

4 - After treatment, there is still no deterioration of whiteness, and stability to high temperature is excellent.

5 - There is only a little change of fibrous touch, and in the case of requiring soft touch, it is effective to use together with extender.

Processing

The amounts used depends on fibrous kinds, but generally, for polyester, nylon, 1.0-2.0% is applied, and for cotton, silk, 2.0-3.0% is employed.

Adequate water-repellent effect is achieved by curing 150ºC∼180ºC×2min.
