Protein G can be used
Purify mammalian monoclonal antibodies and polyclonal IgG that do not bind well to Protein A.
Relative to Protein A, Protein G
It has a higher affinity for most mammalian IgG, especially for the subunits of IgG, such as human IgG3.
Mouse IgG1 and rat IgG2a.
Unlike Protein A, Protein G does not bind to human IgM, IgD, or IgA.
Recombinant Protein G has removed the binding sites of albumin and cell surface, reducing cross-reaction and non-specific binding.
Therefore, it has a greater affinity than natural protein G and protein A.
It can replace secondary antibodies and is widely used in immunochemistry and other fields.
Good in affinity and stability.
