Magnesium hydroxide flame retardant for plastic pipe has the maximum processing temperature of 300℃.

It can be widely used to produce various kinds of flame retardant pipe including PP corrugated pipe, flame retardant PE pipe, flame retardant PA pipe, flame retardant PU pipe and flame retardant PVC pipe.

Flame Retardant PE Pipe Coupling agent coated magnesium hydroxide can be easily dispersed into PE, EVA, and PVC.

Flame-retardant mechanism of Magnesium Hydroxide Flame Retardant for Plastics Pipe 1 - Decomposition of magnesium hydroxide absorbs heat, which is beneficial to reduce the flame combustion temperature.

2 - The decomposition of magnesium hydroxide create water, it’s not only the coolant, also reduce the smoke density as thinner.

3 - The decomposition of magnesium hydroxide creates MgO, which is featured with big specific surface.

So it is easy to absorb smoke and cover the combustible material.
