boron- based additive flame retardant with applications ina variety of

plastic and rubber compounds, the water of hydration attemperatures

exceeding 280 °C, used as a flame retardant, smoke and

afterglowsuppressant, anti- arcing agent in polymer systems such as PVC,

nylon, epoxy, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyesters, thermoplastic

elastomers and rubbers.

In halogen- containing systems, ZB2335 is always

used to replace partially oreven completely antimony trioxide.

In halogen-

free systems, ZB2335 is normallyused in conjunction with Aluminum

hydroxide or magnesium hydroxide to displaysynergism.
