How will CCIC inspect containers for waste material?

Suppliers should use AQSIQ license with U key, to put your exporting information on PSI system, when CCIC receive your application, then they will arrange inspection for your company.

First, let me explain an noun for you.

What is an inspection batch.

An inspection batch refers to all containers in one invoice or in one CCIC License.

That means all of your containers can be in one batch.

See an example as below:

If you want to export 20 containers of waste plastic to China, 50% containers of inspection batch should be opened, which means 10 containers will be opened during the inspection.

10% of inspection batch should be drawn out of the container, so 2 containers will be drawned out.

What will they inspect for this two container?

First is the most important, Radioactive inspection

As we know, radioactive is very dangerous for human beings, especially in metal scrap industry.

So China custom have to ensure that your scrap is meeting the radioactive standards.

Then next, inclusion in your scrap is also very important if your products is metal scrap, then you can not put waste paper, waste plastic or anything else in your container, these materials can not excess 0.5% of your total weight.

After inspection, CCIC will mail the license to your company within one week, you need to send you copy of AQSIQ license and CCIC license to Chinese consignees, and they can do custom clearness in China.

China does not allow suppliers export waste material to China without AQSIQ Certificate, in order to serve overseas suppliers all over the world, China Recycling Inspection Service Co.
