Therefore it is very important that our camshafts are machined to precise measurements on computer controlled turret lathes.

This method ensures both the accurate sizing of journal bearings and the correct concentricity between the cam head and cam shaft.

Further increasing the quality of these camshafts is the method in which the spline teeth are cut.

Many manufactures broach the teeth from the shaft, but this can make for a weaker spline tooth.

Our camshafts have their shaft splines are machine rolled for the greatest amount of strength and dimensional integrity.

To prevent the kind of wear and damage caused by normal use, these S Cams are heat treated for maximum endurance.

The critical areas of the camshaft, such as the cam head and the spline teeth are induction hardened to prevent the premature failure due to accelerated wear.
