Color fastness tester to smoke Instrument Description:
The Colorfastness to Smoke Tester is suitable for testing the colorfastness of all textiles except loose fibers to atmospheric nitrogen oxides from chemical butane gas or city gas combustion.
working principle:
The textile sample and the control standard are placed in the gas smoke at the same time, until the color of the control standard changes to a color equivalent to the faded standard.
The discoloration of the specimens was assessed using the grey scale.
If no discoloration of the sample is observed after one test cycle, the specified number of test cycles may be continued or the number of test cycles required to produce the specified discoloration of the sample.
